LOL Wauwatosa FLL Explore Festival

The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Festival is a high-energy celebration where students showcase their STEM achievements and teamwork. For the 2025–2026 season, the global theme is UNEARTHED™, which focuses on how innovation and history connect generations.

FLL Explore Festival (Ages 6–10)
The Explore Festival is a non-competitive, celebratory event designed for younger children to share their learning through a thematic project.
Team Model:
Teams build a LEGO model that includes a motorized part and at least one simple machine, typically using the LEGO Education SPIKE™ Essential kit.
Show Me Poster:
Students create a poster to document their research on the season’s theme and explain their design process.
Reviewing:
Volunteer “Reviewers” interview teams about their creations, focusing on their communication and problem-solving skills rather than “winning”.
Atmosphere:
Festivals are low-pressure events often featuring music, hands-on activity stations, and a group celebration where every student is recognized.
