Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When does the program start each year?

A: Our regular program starts in the fall, usually around late July. During the summer, we also run summer camps or workshops, with sessions beginning around mid-May.

Q: When is the next session?

A: Our upcoming workshop is planned to begin in mid-May at the Menasha Public Library. Our fall program starts in late July, and the Spring 2027 session will begin in January 2027.

Q: Where does the program take place, and when does it run?

A: The program is held at the Menasha Public Library.
The fall program runs from late July through late December and includes approximately 15 sessions.
The spring program runs from January through late April and also includes approximately 15 sessions.

Q: What ages can participate?

A: Children ages 5 to 16 are welcome to join. Our Beginner Classes are for ages 5–8, and our Advanced Classes are for ages 8–16.

Q: What curriculum does the program follow?

A: We use a curriculum based on FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and tailor our lessons to each group based on students’ experience, interests, and progress.

Q: Are there coaches for each team?

A: Each team is guided by a parent coach and a student coach. Student coaches are experienced high school or college students who have participated in robotics competitions and have mentoring experience.

Q: Can my child join after the program has already started?

A: Yes. Students may join within the first five sessions of the fall or spring program. After that point, late enrollment is no longer available.
