SUMMARY:2026 Scratch Fall Program - Session 16 (End of Season)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a beginner-friendly Scratch coding class designed for children ages 8–14 with no prior coding experience. \n\n\n\nIn this hands-on program\, students will learn the basics of computer programming by creating 15 fun animated projects in Scratch\, a beginner-friendly programming platform developed by MIT. Through creative storytelling and interactive activities\, students will explore essential coding concepts while bringing their own animations to life. \n\n\n\nWhat Students Will Learn\n\n\n\n\nIntroduction to the Scratch programming environment\n\n\n\nHow to use blocks to create programs\n\n\n\nMotion\, looks\, sound\, and events\n\n\n\nLoops and conditionals\n\n\n\nCreative problem-solving and computational thinking\n\n\n\n\nProjects\n\n\n\nStudents will build 15 animated Scratch projects\, giving them the opportunity to practice programming concepts in a fun and engaging way.
